The halting problem is a famous example of a decision problem in computing.

It asserts that, given an arbitrary program, it’s impossible to know if it will ever run out of CVEs.

It’s a corollary to the starting problem, which asserts that, given an arbitrary idea for a program, it’s impossible to know if an org will choose to make it secure by design.
