Hello Protocols, Packets, and Programs,

Every time July rolls around I like to celebrate the movie, Tron.

It has a unique visual style, a great soundtrack, and one of my favorite mottos – fight for the user.

And its major villain was the Master Control Program, aka the MCP.

Many decades later we have far more sophisticated computers and digital effects.

And we’re still fighting MCPs.
