Yesterday marked the 30th anniversary of PHP’s 1.0 release!

To quote from the 1995 announcement:

“These tools are a set of small tight cgi binaries written in C.”

PHP contributed to the early web by increasing –

The amount of web pages,

The amount of open source code,

And the amount of CVEs.
